All State Auditions
All State auditions typically fall on the last weekend in January. You can only audition for All-State's with a high enough score from your CDMMEA audition.

Typically the second Saturday in May, students will perform in an open recital atmosphere in a classroom. The adjudicator will offer a brief workshop immediately following the performance.

Regional Honor Band
Regional Honor Band
This festival is the one organized for the New England Region. The festival is open to the most outstanding woodwind, brass, and percussion players from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. It began in 2002 as a middle school festival for students in grades 7, 8, and 9; and continued that way for the 2004 and 2006 festivals. Because of the overwhelming response, the festival was opened up to students in grading 7 through 12 starting in 2009 and has been serving both junior high and high school students ever since. Currently, two honors bands are created from the many applications received or submitted from all over New England.
All of its students are actively involved in their school music programs, as well as all-state and regional district music festivals. Under the artistic direction of Jonathan Brennand for the past five seasons, WYO has grown to four orchestras, a wind ensemble, jazz program, honors chamber music program and a flute and clarinet choir. It serves more than 200 students and draws an annual audience of more than 8,000 concertgoers each season.
