OUTLINE YOUR BLOG POSTS: Use your recording sheets to plan and outline your five blog posts on the following topics:
Post 1: General park information including important points of interest.
Post 2: The cost of the road trip and explanation of the calculations.
Post 3 : A summary on whether changes in gas prices affect park attendance.
Post 4: Answer with a summarizing text and picture to help explain. Describe how the geographic factors promote or impede the movement of people, products and ideas.
Post 5: Additionally, your science part of this presentation will be your brochure on paper or Canva: Create a national park brochure and map showing trails, roads, natural wonders, geological features, wildlife and it's habitat "Worth the Hike". You may take a picture of your completed paper brochure or if you used Canva, put that into your presentation for this slide.
Remember you are trying to convince your readers to go to this park so write your blog posts in that fashion!
WRITING YOUR BLOG POSTS: Use your outline and any other handouts you've done along the way to write your 5 blog posts. Remember each post must include at least one photograph. Apply your creativity as well as your math, science, social studies and writing skills to encourage your readers to plan their next adventure to your national park.
CREATE A LOGO: Create a logo for your national park. Describe why you used the images and colors for the logo. Click on the image to see this in Canva or use a paper copy and do this on paper.
