Honors Spanish III Course Overview

This course is the further continuation of what will hopefully become a lifetime love of Spanish! It is designed to improve upon skills the students already acquired in Spanish 1 and 2, bringing students to an intermediate/advanced level of Spanish. with more of an emphasis on listening and speaking skills. Grammatical structures will be enhanced through more advanced reading, writing, speaking and listening.

GRAMMAR including but not limited to:

· Re-cap of Spanish 2

· Affirmative & negative words

· Possessive adjectives - long and short

· Reflexive verbs

· Irregular past tense (preterite)

· Irregular present progressive

· Imperfect tense

· Describing in the past: preterite vs imperfect tenses
