This is Lofty, the 2025-26 first competition robot! Lofty is able to do all parts of the FTC Decode game, including being able to lift off the ground for another robot to park under!
This subsystem is a "pass through" intake worked by using chains that spin sets of bristles pulling in a artifact
this system uses a rack and pinion (a gear set) that helps a motor spin to lift the robot, included are gravity locks that prevent the robot from falling back down
This system uses two un-geared 6000 RPM motors (directly connected to flywheels) in which spin such fly wheels that push against a artifact to force it forward therefore flying
This is T.I.M.M.Y the 2024-25 competition robot. T.I.M.M.Y was the only robot of this year, as it went through multiple iterations of change rather then full design overhaul. From the beginning T.I.M.M.Y could only do the basics of the "Into the Deep" game, however over time and by the end of the season T.I.M.M.Y was able to do all aspects of the game.
The Para-cord system was the first version of our lifting capability for the endgame stage of Into the Deep, it was changed out before the first competition due to its unreliability of working
After design changes we combined the front arm system and the full out-take system to be one central arm that pulls in samples using fly wheels and rotates upwards to allow clipping
Our linear slide system
