Physical Education Updates
Read, read, and read even more! Reading can take many different forms. It doesn’t just need to be a “physical” book. Magazines, graphic novels, newspapers, nonfiction articles, blogs, ebooks, even take out menus are all forms of reading. Feel free to change up “reading” - reading doesn’t always mean sitting quietly reading to yourself. Reading to each other, making up a story from the illustrations, or even listening to an audiobook are all different ways to read.
Access to materials:
Wisconsin Public Library Consortium - As a state, Wisconsin Public Libraries has a large collection of e-books (kindle and other formats) and audiobooks. All you need to be able to check these items out is any Wisconsin Public Library Card.
Some libraries have access to Hoopla (Milwaukee Public Library card holders have access) - this gives you a limited number of on demand movies, music, ebooks, and audiobooks a month (per library card). Please check your local public library or ask me to help to find out if Hoopla is available for your use.
Parents: If your child(ren) wants to participate in Google Meet Stories, GREAT! However, I’m going to also need your help. After we chat for a bit (I miss the students!), I could use your help muting the microphone button so everyone can hear. I’m not sure how many will choose to participate, but it could possibly be a large group!

Reinforce and activate language, and build even more in your personal French language bank! Then use what you learn to communicate in activities and games each week! Send pictures and videos! Send comments! They will be added to the all-school Montre et raconte (Show and Tell) link. All 4 links are updated weekly.
