There is no greater gift you can give to your child than the gift of your time.

Being present in your child's life plays a huge part in their education.  Below you will find some things that can help instill the love of learning in your child.

1. Read to your child.  Children love to hear stories.  

2. Set a routine so your child knows what to expect.  Have a set morning routine, after school routine and bedtime routine.

3. Allow your child to have experiences.  Take them to the park, the zoo or store.  Allow them to discover new things around them.

4. Make homework time important.  Homework teaches responsibility while reinforcing skills taught to them at school.

5. Always communicate your concerns with your child's teacher.  Your child's education is a partnership between you, your child and their teacher.
