Meet Mrs. Sher

I reside in Wood-Ridge with my husband, two children and dog.  We love going on vacations and spending as much time outdoors as we can!  I love the performing arts, especially Broadway Shows.  Dancing is one of my favorite past times.  For fun I love cooking and baking with my kids!  Being a mom is my favorite part of life!    

I received my Bachelors and Masters Degrees from The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY.  My undergraduate work was in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology.  My graduate work was in Reading.  I hold NJ certifications in both Elementray Education and Teacher of Reading.  I am Level 1 Wilson Reading Certified.

I began my career as a 3rd grade classroom teacher in 2003.  I shifted into a Reading Teacher role in 2007 and that has been where I have found my true passion.  I have worked on all grade levels, K-12, helping those students who struggle with reading.  I love being a part of the CED staff and bringing my expertise to all of the students here.  I am so excited to be at Doyle for another year!
