The Fabrication studies course is designed to expose students to fabrication and welding processes and provide the opportunity to build skills working with metals. Course content has been developed by using first year welding apprenticeship modules with knowledge and skills linked directly to the Alberta education fabrication curriculum.
About the Teacher
I obtained my Journeyman ticket for welding in 2005 after completing my apprenticeship at a general fabrication shop near Ponoka, AB. During my apprenticeship, I gained hands-on experience working with various metals and techniques. Over the years, I’ve built a strong foundation of field and shop experience, welding for diverse industries including oil and gas, agriculture, mining, and structural projects.
