The computer class focuses on activities that promote logical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, determination, and skills that compliment traditional academic learning.
My teaching primarily revolves around coding. We introduce coding lessons in kindergarten using BeeBots and finish the adventure in 4th grade with a project where students create, construct and program an invention, game or device.
While students will not become computer programmers before they leave WES, they will learn valuable thinking skills that will support their learning as they move to the middle school.
