Timeline

This is the  timeline that we will follow to the best of our ability. However, various circumstances may affect the schedule, and any adjustments will be communicated to the School Committee.

Purpose
The goal of this document is to provide a transparent process on how the phased redistricting process will be implemented each year in Woburn Public Schools. This plan is guided by a commitment to School Committee Guiding Principles:

• Class size equity across schools

• Demographic equity, particularly for high-needs students

• Continuity of sub-separate programming

• Maintaining proximity between students and their neighborhood schools

• Minimizing disruption while meeting the needs of the district and the city
