All About Mrs. Cardenas...

My name is Amy Cardenas and I am thrilled to be facilitating Gifted and Talented instruction at Robert Menendez Elementary School. 

I have been teaching since 2002, and returned to the Gifted and Talented Program in 2019. It has been a joy to cultivate a love of learning and nurture our students' curiosity and talents through project based activities, hands on exploration, and field experiences. 

In our G&T classroom, we strive to provide a happy, comfortable space for our students to share, learn, practice, make mistakes, and ultimately thrive!
