First, let us define technology. Educational technology is a more general term. Technology makes our jobs easier. For example, a tractor makes farming easier, so it is considered farming technology; a washing machine makes household chores easier, so it is considered household technology. Similar to this, educational technology, such as PowerPoint presentations, smartphones, and even a chalk stick, makes teaching easier by making a teacher's job easier.
