Camera or Audio not working on my Chromebook
Restart your Chromebook by turning it off and on again
Check to see if you have a Wi-Fi connection
Check to see if you have updates for your Chromebook
Click on the clock in the bottom right, go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for Updates
Check your permissions in Google Chrome. You may have blocked access to your camera or microphone. Click on the icon next to the star for your bookmarks or access settings - instructions below:
How To Connect Your Chromebook To Your Home Wi-Fi
Turn on your Chromebook
Click on the time in the bottom right and make sure your Wi-Fi is on
Select the Wi-Fi network
Enter your Wi-Fi's password and click "Connect"
Once the Chromebook connects to your Wi-Fi, you can enter the username and password
How To Login to Your Chromebook
Enter your school username - first 3 letters of your first and last name and 3-digits
Using a school device? @wmpccs.org should already be in the username
Using a personal device? Login at mail.wmpccs.org
Enter your school Google password
If you do not know your username and/or password, contact your teacher
How To Turn Off Your Chromebook If It Freezes
It is always best to properly shutdown your Chromebook by:
Signing out of your account by holding Ctrl+Shift and Q (2x) or clicking on the time on the bottom right and selection sign out.
Once you've signed out of your account, click on "Shut down" at the bottom left-hand corner of the log in screen or hold down the power button on the top right of the keyboard.

But sometimes the Chromebook can freeze and become completely unresponsive. When this happens:
Hold down the power button on the top right-hand of the keyboard for several seconds. The Chromebook will power down.
Wait about ten seconds
Push the power button to restart the Chromebook.
How To Perform Basic Troubleshooting On Your Chromebook
Restart your Chromebook by turning it off and on again
Check to see if you have a Wi-Fi connection
Check to see if you have updates for your Chromebook
Click on the clock in the bottom right, go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for Updates
If your battery is completely drained, you may need to leave it plugged in and closed for at least 20-30 minutes.

Try both USB-C (oval shaped) ports to charge your device.
How To Perform Basic Troubleshooting On Wi-Fi
If you have access to your Wi-Fi modem and/or router in your home:
Turn off (sometimes there is a switch, if not you can unplug it from the wall) your modem and/or router
Wait for 10 seconds
Turn on your modem and/or router and wait to see if your connection is restored
If connectivity issues continue, you may need to contact your service provide (ISP) such as Hawaiian Tel or Spectrum.
