Challenge friends to a game of Spades, Uno, Black Card Revoked, Culture Tags, Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and more throughout the event.
RIVIAN TEST RIDES
Experience Rivian vehicles firsthand with complimentary test rides from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, driven by a Rivian representative. Pre-registrations coming soon.
HIP HOP CHARADES
A fast-paced, interactive game presented by Just Play Entertainment, where the audience can win a card game and a Battle of the Sexes pitting 4 men against 4 women for a digital prize.
LINE DANCE-OFF
Show off your moves and compete in a lively line dance challenge for prizes and bragging rights.

About The Cookout
About The Cookout
The Cookout is an annual gathering that brings together Black employee resource groups and Black-identifying professionals (and allies) in music and tech. It’s a space to connect, celebrate culture, and strengthen the community powering our industries forward.
After a powerful inaugural event in Los Angeles in 2024, we are thrilled to expand to Nashville in 2025. This evening will showcase live music, interactive games, community engagement, and meaningful conversation, all in celebration of Black culture and collaboration.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an RSVP?
Yes. You must have an approved Posh RSVP, and your name must be on the guest list for entry.
Early arrival is encouraged. Due to capacity, an RSVP may not guarantee entry.
Age requirement?
Guests must be 21+ due to alcohol service, and will need to show ID at the door.
Dress Code?
Cookout casual / come as you are. Comfortable shoes recommended for line dancing.
Food and Drinks?
Yes. Cookout bites will be available, and drink wristbands will be provided at arrival.
Where can I park?
Street parking nearby, rideshare encouraged. There is no parking onsite at WMN.
What are Rivian Test Rides?
A Rivian electric vehicle rep will be offering ride-alongs between 4:00pm - 6:00pm. First-come, first-served (the rep will drive due to alcohol onsite).
Is it indoors or outdoors?
Both! The Cookout includes both indoor and outdoor experiences, and will take place rain or shine.
Will there be photos or video?
Yes, we will be filming + photographing throughout the event. By attending, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded for event recaps and promotional purposes.
Health guidelines?
Please attend only if feeling well. Stay home if sick to protect the community.
