We're I.T.! We are William & Mary's OLDEST comedy group! I.T. performs short-form, long-form, and musical improv: a form exclusive to I.T. around campus.

Improvisational Theatre (I.T.) is for everyone. Whether you enjoy watching improv or performing, we strive to foster a unique space where people can laugh and connect with one another. From fun-filled rehearsals to themed performances, I.T.'s nearly forty-year-old traditions and quirky members make this troupe ideal for those willing to boldly express themselves by creating art and committing to meaningful causes like workshops at local schools and fundraising events. 

I.T.'s members come from a wide range of social and academic backgrounds. You may be surprised to know that the vast majority of members current and former are not theater majors, but instead have included english, anthropology, biology, international relations, film studies, computer science, history, economics, and more! The broader the backgrounds of our members, the broader the perspectives on life and comedy we can bring to our performances. 

Of course, making sure our members are in tune with each other is crucial to creating good improv, which is why we meet three times a week for around 90 minutes. Spending time together also helps us bond with each other and form meaningful friendships, and with our vast alumni network, it is safe to say that I.T. will be with you for your foreseeable future. In short: Once I.T., FOREVER I.T.!!!
