Meet the Teacher

Getting to know Me

As you know my name is Jane Engler and I am originally from Los Angeles, Westchester in fact. I grew up in the area and attended WLS as a child all the way from preschool to 8th grade. It was an amazing experience and I will always be grateful for the excellent education I received there.

My family is very important to me. I am blessed to have two wonderful children, Lydia (14), and Luke (12). They are students at Westchester Lutheran and will be in grades 8 and 6 this year. My kids mean the world to me and they inspire me to be the best mom and teacher that I can be. I have been married to my husband, Dan Engler, for seventeen years. He is a fire captain for the city of El Segundo and volunteers with me in Scouts BSA. We live locally in Westchester and can often be seen walking to school or riding bikes together around the neighborhood.
