What support can I apply for?
Travel Support
Learners must live more then one mile away from their site of study
Learners can apply for a contribution towards their estimated travel expenses to college.
This contribution is subject to an assessment regarding the number of days you are timetabled in college and distance travelled. Costs are estimated based on TFL travel zones within zone 6 only and the fund will not support travel outside of TFL zone 6.
All travel payments will be linked to attendance and meeting the 90% attendance requirement.
Travel is also available through Transport for London including free bus and 50% tube travel for 16-18.

The fund is available to provide Free Meals to disadvantaged learners who meet the eligibility criteria:
Learner’s age 16 -19 but must be age 18 on the 31st August prior to the start of the academic year.
Learners aged 19 who are continuing on the 2nd year of the same study program they started before they turned 19. (Referred to as 19+ Continuers)
Learners aged 19-25 who have an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan)
In addition to the above the household must also be in receipt of an income-based benefit from the link above and this evidence must be provided on the Pay My Student Bursary application form.

Books/Course Material Support
Learners can apply for a contribution towards the cost of stationary, books, equipment and / or clothing for their courses the amount of support will be dependent on their chosen course of study.
The award will be a contribution to the cost associated with their courses and will not cover the full cost.
Leaners maybe able to apply for some financial assistance towards the cost of Ofsted registered childcare to enable them to be able to attend their study programme. Please click here
