The Braves are a unique experience, offering players experienced coaches, top of the line safety equipment and playing in the competitive Southeast Michigan Youth Football Association. As the elite football program in the Walled Lake area, the Braves provide young athletes with an unparalleled ability to grow in the sport. Our program was designed to prepare young athletes to compete at a higher level in their high school programs.
Our football and cheer programs are specially designed to teach advanced skills that translate throughout the season. In a time when authors have routinely and universally found that practice, experience and repetition leads to greater abilities at all types of activities, the Braves provide the outlet for that growth.
Cheerleading
Cheer is a sport that teaches athletes about leadership, teamwork, fitness as well as instruction in cheer skills, dance and tumbling. The Walled Lake Braves offer just that! Our Cheerleaders participate in sideline cheer during Walled Lake Braves football games and compete in an exhibition/competition at the end of the season. The focus is developing a sense of pride in their accomplishments, which leads to an increase in self confidence.
