Ms. Rosa's

4th Grade classroom

Meet Ms. Rosa

Hi there! I'm Ms. Rosa.

I graduated from Purdue's College of Education and Honors College in 2020 and I'm a West Side grad. RDP! This is my fourth year teaching at WLIS, and my third year teaching fourth grade. I love reading, nature, crafting, and music (I play guitar and ukulele and I'm learning to play the banjo). When I'm not at school, I'm usually at Civic Theatre where I work as a teaching artist, stage manager, and director (and sometimes hit the stage)! I also love Purdue volleyball and spending time with my family.

I believe that teaching and learning are the most effective ways to make our world a better place. My priorities as an educator are building relationships with students, fueling a love of learning, and teaching skills and attitudes that will help students succeed far beyond the walls of our lovely little school. You'll find a lot of hands-on exploration in our classroom, and you'll see that we aren't afraid to get a little silly for the sake of learning.

Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions, concerns, or ideas!

I can't wait to get to know your family this year!

Ms. Rosa
