Mrs. Darice Sheiss joined the West Lafayette School System in 2014 (Happy Hollow) teaching 5th grade. Prior to this she taught 4th grade and Intervention at Delphi Elementary School. This year begins her 18th year in teaching, and she is excited about her role as a Reading and Math Interventionist.
Darice and her husband, Eric, reside on a hobby farm in Bringhurst where they raised their two children, Keegan and Madeline. They once enjoyed raising pigs and sheep with their children, but with both kids grown and working, they now just have two Golden Retrievers, Remi and Reagan. They also enjoy traveling and spending time in their back yard.
Darice graduated from Purdue University in 1996 in Elementary Education and Special Education.
