Strings Teacher
This is Ms. Davis' fourth year teaching strings for WJUSD. She has been involved in music since starting piano lessons in the second grade and holds a degree in music education from CSU, Chico and did graduate study at CSU, Fullerton. She began her career at the high school level, teaching for one year at Valley High School in the Elk Grove Unified School District. She has 24 years experience teaching instrumental, vocal and classroom music for grades K-8 in private schools in Sacramento. Ms. Davis lives in Sacramento and is a violist in the Camellia Symphony.

Band Teacher
Mr. Smith is happy to be teaching music in Woodland for his seventh year. His background in trombone and vocal performance led him to earn a B.A. in Music, at the University of California, Davis. His interest in music education led him towards CSU, Sacramento, where he earned his teaching credential.
He continues to perform in local music ensembles, including the University Alumni Chorus, California Aggie Alumni Band, Yolo Community Band, and Woodland Chamber Singers.
