Thank you to everyone who responded to the poll! We ended up with 115 total responses, so yay! Overall, the majority of people decided they were going to dress up for Halloween, with only 14.8% of people deciding against it. Of the people who chose to dress up, most people chose to dress up as a cool character they liked, rather than a scary or funny costume. Granted, a pretty clear reason for the costumes is that most people, when asked why they chose their costume, said that they wanted to match with their friends or partners. 

Shockingly, even though 85% of PHS students chose to dress up, only 51% of students had plans to go trick or treating. Other students-- about 41% --were considering going trick or treating, but they weren’t positive if they were or not. 

Lastly, let’s highlight one very cool costume that a PHS student wore! I definitely wasn’t expecting to see Robespierre-- yes, the historical figure who executed a ton of people --as I was walking into my first class of the day. Of all the costumes one could choose, Robespierre is certainly a unique one (but also a very cool one).
