Invitationals are optional meets that we bring our team/athletes to in order to compete for medals, get PR's, or earn qualifying times to larger meets. These are optional and we need athletes to tell us well in advance whether they will attend or not.
When: Saturday February 26th, 2022
Location: Yuba City High School
Time: First event is 9:30am for field, 10am for track. (pole vault begins at 10am)
Bus will leave the school at 7:45 AM

Field events will begin at 8:30am and track races will begin at 9:00am.
All field events will be 4 attempts with finals only format. The first attempt will be measured but the following attempts must meet a minimum standard in order to be measured. This will help the meet move along in a timely manner.
Teams may enter up to 2 relay teams for an event, and both teams are eligible to earn points towards the overall team scores.
The meet will also include a “Throwers 4x100m” fun run for Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys only. This will not go towards team points.
***The 100m will only be 1 heat of Varsity Girls and 1 heat of Varsity Boys to get an early season mark. Submit up to 3 athletes, but only the top 9 seeds (based on 2021 Marks) will be entered to compete.
MEDALS: The meet will have 4 divisions (F/S Boys, F/S Girls, Var Boys, Var Girls). Medals will be awarded to the 1st place finishers in the open events as well as the 1st place relay team. 2nd place and 3rd place finishers will be awarded ribbons.
There will be a trophy awarded to the Varsity Girls Team with the most team points, and the Varsity Boys Team with the most team points. There will be no team trophy's awarded for the Frosh/Soph Divisions.
An “Athlete of the Meet” Award will be awarded to one Varsity Girl, and one Varsity Boy athlete.
WARM UPS: Space is available on the infield, or the adjacent baseball field, north of the stadium. Please reserve the infield for warm ups only, not hanging out. Please remind your athletes NOT to wear their spikes on the Football Field.
This Track Meet has FREE PARKING & FREE ENTRY for family members, spectators, and the community. Concession stand will be available.
