Welcome to Reveal Math at West Islip!
In 2022, West Islip Schools adopted Reveal Math (McGraw Hill Publisher) as our primary resource for elementary K-5 Math. This program was chosen after a committee of teachers and administrators met numerous times throughout the previous school year to assess a variety of options. We chose a program that incorporated key findings from recent research on best practices in math instruction. Reveal Math emphasizes students' social and emotional competencies as well as their academic growth in math and other areas of STEM. This program is designed to meet the needs of all learners.

Next Generation Math Learning Standards

The curriculum taught in West Islip schools is aligned with the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards. For each grade level, the standards can be viewed by clicking here.

Supplementary Instructional Technology

West Islip Students have a variety of instructional technology available to help enrich their mathematical journey. For developing curiosity and resiliency in problem-solving, students can practice skills in a game-based environment with ST Math. Students can also practice & drill their skills on IXL and/or Reflex Math. To visit these websites, students should log in through ClassLink.
