Remote Instruction

In the unlikely event that the West Islip Union Free School District must pivot to remote instruction (ex. snow amounts require the District to utilize more than the two snow days built into the 2025-2026 calendar), the district’s  Emergency Remote Instruction Plan will be followed.

All students will:

-Sign into each class “period” on time

-have their face visible on camera

-be dressed appropriately for school

-be seated at a desk, table or counter

-remain engaged throughout the duration of the class “period”

-utilize their 1:1 devices appropriately and respectfully

-complete the learning activities provided by the teacher

*Attendance will be taken via Infinite Campus.  If a student is late, they will be marked late.  If a student is absent, they will be marked absent.
