This is my 27th year teaching! I started my career at Beach Street Middle School and taught there for 7 years. I then taught 1st grade for a year and finally... I have been a 5th grade teacher ever since! I absolutely LOVE what I do and look forward to all the adventures we will have together!!

I have 1 older sister who is a math teacher and 2 older brothers who are both pilots for Jetblue and Southwest Airlines. They all live in Arizona, so that is a place I love to visit!

The people who had the most influence in my life was my MOM and my DAD. My mom was a very creative/artistic person and who had the biggest heart. She helped me to become the person and the educator I am today! She also had a love of butterflies like I do!! I think the butterfly represents embracing change and new beginnings in a positive way and always, always seeing the beauty in nature!
