Biology Life Science is a Regents science that stresses inquiry and depends upon the basic relationships of the physical sciences as well as living things. Both the presentation of content and the development of skills will be critical components of this course. The Biology Regents exam will test for an understanding of cells, genetics, evolution, the human body and ecology as well as laboratory skills. The exam includes constructed-response, multiple-choice questions, graphs and data tables. The format of the new exam will be in clusters. Students will practice this cluster format throughout the year. Old Regents questions will be used for each topic exam to familiarize students with both wording and content. This will aid in students being able to tackle the cluster format of the new exam.
