Syllabus

In English 7, students will build strong skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language through a variety of texts, activities, and assessments. Students will practice gathering and analyzing evidence, responding to texts, writing evidence-based paragraphs and essays, participating in discussions and Socratic Seminars, and strengthening vocabulary and language skills. Throughout the year, students will be encouraged to be prepared, engaged, respectful, and willing to grow as confident, independent learners.
