Hi! I’m Mrs. Francesca Stanco, and I’m so excited to be your English teacher! This year marks my 9th year in education, and I’m looking forward to helping students grow as readers, writers, thinkers, and communicators.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English Education from St. Joseph’s University and my Master’s degree in TESOL from Queens College. I am certified in English Language Arts for grades 5–12 and TESOL for grades K–12.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students across different grade levels and learning needs. I believe every student has a unique voice, and my goal is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable taking risks, sharing ideas, asking questions, and discovering their strengths.
Outside of school, I’m a mom of two! My son, Mikey, is 2 years old, and my daughter, Giada, will be turning 1 in November. I’m married to my husband, Mike, and I love spending time with my family whenever I’m not in the classroom.
I’m also a Libra, and some of my favorite things include cooking, baking, spending time with my family, and enjoying the outdoors.
I’m so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to read, write, learn, and grow together!
