Business Ed.

The West Islip Business Education Department offers a diverse set of course offerings to prepare students for excellence in Business.  Courses provide experience in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, finance, law, and web design.  These hands-on courses prepare students for life after high school and have helped hundreds of students launch impressive careers.  Several of our courses are dual-enrollment, offering students opportunities to earn college credits through Long Island University and Farmingdale College.  Additionally, the Business Education Department offers Career & Technical Education Pathways (CTE) and provides industry certifications in numerous areas. The Business Education Department also offers a variety of extracurricular activities such as DECA, FBLA, New York State Business & Marketing Honor Society, as well as a chance to work in the School Store.
