Introduction: 9th grade global studies is the first half of a two-year course. In this class we will discuss the ancient civilizations, classical civilizations, the medieval period, as well as the Renaissance and how their contributions help shape the world today.
Google Classroom: All assignments and notes will be posted on our google classroom.
Grading: Major Assignments (Tests/Projects) 90%
Minor Assignments (Homework, Quizzes, classwork, reading) 10%
Chromebooks: Chromebooks charged and ready to go every day.
Tests: All exams will have multiple-choice questions and in some cases stimulus based questions.
Personal devices: Cell phones, air Pods, smart watches, tablets, etc. are NOT PERMITTED during the school day.
Final Exam: There will be a final exam given in June that will cover all material taught this year.
Extra Help: Extra help sessions will be held after school on Tuesday in the upstairs library
