Sixth Grade General Music
This exploratory class meets every other day for 20 weeks. Students will have experiences playing the ukulele, keyboards, percussion and learn about the elements of music, composers, various musical genres and eras.

Sixth Grade Chorus
This class meets every other day for the entire school year. Students will be exposed to various types of choral literature such as traditional folk music, songs sung in foreign languages, songs from current and past Broadway musicals and different styles of Pop music. They will hone their sight-reading skills by completing assignments using the Sight-Reading Factory app. Please click on the Sight-Reading Factory tab in the toolbar above for details about this program.

Seventh and Eighth Grade Chorus
This class meets every other day for the entire school year. Students will be exposed to various types of choral literature in three-part harmony. Pop music, American Folk music, international music and vocal repertoire from current and past Broadway musicals are some of the musical styles they will be exposed to. Udall Road Vocal Ensemble
This class meets every other day for the entire school year on Gold days during zero period. Students are invited to participate in this ensemble by audition only. Prior performance experiences in the local community have been at the Long Island Music Festival, senior assisted living centers and Bethpage Park for the Long Island Ducks. The ensemble has an annual field trip to New York City to see a Broadway show.
