West Islip School District will begin providing school meals for students starting on/about Monday, March 30th.
At this time, meals will be available for all students Monday thru Friday between the hours of 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at West Islip High School only. Meals will not be available at any other school location.
Meals will be individually bagged and provided as a “grab-and-go.” If driving, please remain in your car at all times unless otherwise instructed to help ensure appropriate social distancing. Lunch and a breakfast (for the following day) will be provided. All children districtwide (aged 18 years old and younger) are eligible.
Please note that there is no established menu, and no special request/preference can be accommodated. If your student has a food allergy or medical need that is documented with a doctor/medical note and is on file with the school district, please contact the Food Service Office so we can ensure an appropriate meal is available for your student.
Additionally, if you are a household that is eligible for free/reduced-price meals and are unable to pick up daily meals for your student(s), contact the Food Service Office. We will work to accommodate these situations as best as possible.
