This year's theme is motivation. We will explore topics related to motivation such as
How can we increase student motivation for learning?
How do faculty maintain their motivation?
Faculty (and graduate students) of all backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to attend the conference for a day of reflection, discussion and professional development.
The conference will actively involve and engage all participants throughout the following sessions (times are tentative):
9:30 Registration Opens (Coffee and donuts) in Science Center Lobby
10-11:30 Morning Math Session: Facilitator - Eli Luberoff (remote option available), SC B10
11:30 - Noon Reflection (remote option available), SC B10
Noon -1:30 Lunch & Community Building (Pay for your own lunch)
We reserved space at Felipe's Taqueria for those who want to join but there are many other options! (vegan and gluten-free options available)
1:40 - 4:05 Parallel Active Sessions (remote option available for some sessions)
4:15 - 5:00 Lightning Session: 5 minutes/speaker, Closing Activity
5 pm Happy Hour/ Dinner if you can make it :) (Pay for your own dinner)
