Ms. Shirley Saykali

Hi everyone! My name is Shirley Saykali and I will be one of WISH Community School interns this Spring. I will be graduating from LMU in May of 2023 with my Masters in School Counseling. I grew up in Santa Monica, California and attexnded UCLA for my undergraduate degree in Sociology. I am a part time Kindergarten to Second grade teacher. When I am not studying or teaching I like to swim, try new restaurants, and sing. Can’t wait to work with everyone. "

Ms. Victoria Herrera

Hello, WISH Community!

I am Victoria Herrera, a LMU school counseling intern for the Spring 2023 semester. I have my B.A in Child Development and Family Studies from CSU, Long Beach and am currently obtaining my M.A. in Counseling at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). I taught at the LMU Children’s Center for the past four years and am thrilled to see many of my former preschool students here at WISH. In my free time, I enjoy knitting, reading, being outdoors (camping, hiking & biking), and spending time with my dog. This semester, I am looking forward to getting to know all the students, teachers, and staff at WISH!

Hi everyone! My name is Anthony Barros, I am in my 3rd year at LMU graduating in 2023 on track to become a school counselor. I am very thankful and eager to learn at the WISH Community under Ms. Trisha's support. Besides work and school, I exercise, listen to music, and make time to visit family & friends back in the San Fernando & Antelope Valley.
