The Weslaco High School JROTC Archery Team is a competitive disciplined sport. Cadets engage in drills to build consistency and build accuracy. In this program cadets build not only their physical build but also mental. To maintain a safe environment protocols are an important piece. it requires spacial awarness and responsibility. 

Archery provides many opportunities for self improvement and personal growth. Take self-discipline as an example, self discipline is built on being able to maintain your composure. The Archery team holds practices weekly and builds a consistent environment along with social skills constantly being built. You fairly train alongside your peers and over time you form bonds with one another.
