School counselors work to maximize student success, promoting access and equity for all. As vital members of the leadership team, WHS counselors create a school culture for success. WHS counselors lead, advocate, and collaborate by connecting our counseling program to WHS academic mission and improvement plan.

Our Weslaco High School counseling team works with all stakeholders; administrative team, staff, parents, and community members, to promote and advocate for student academic achievement and social-emotional needs.
The Weslaco High School counseling team provides support to students and their families. Students and families can meet with an academic counselor, GEAR UP facilitator, social worker, and/or college and career specialist based on their individualized needs.
