*I want to congratulate my students on their STAAR Reading scores first administration. Thank you to those who reached Masters: J. Garza, C. Garcia, L. Garcia, H. Montemayor, C. Alvarez, J. Garcia, and T. Leyva. I am so excited for the following students because they showed more that a 20% growth since 7th Grade Reading: E. Villalpando, J. Nichols, M. Torres, A. Loera, C. Alvarez, B. Galvan, K. Alaniz, O. Sanchez, and G. Pecina. *Congratulations to our newly nominated Dr. Armando Cuellar Middle School Homecoming Queen L. Alvarez is our new Co-Drum Leader, C. Rodriguez is Woodwind Captain, L. Garcia is Low Reeds Captain, and R. Sustaita is Low Brass Captain. *I'm super proud of the following students for qualifying for the Reading Counts Celebration for the 2nd Six Weeks: G. Banda, D. Cantu, K. Carreon, and A. Ibanez. I love it when my kiddos get recognized for all the READING they are doing. Read on my friends, read on. *Congratulations to G. Banda for being named my November Student of the Month! Keep up all the hard work. - 11/1/2017*Today we celebrate the crowning of our first King of the Class, I. Aranda. Way to read my mind! (All Kings/Queens appointed by the All Supreme, Mrs. Yanez, who recognizes the right to dethrone any and all Kings/Queens of the Class at will.) Great Job Ignacio, may your reign be prosperous. 10/24/2017 Update: I Aranda has been removed from the throne as of 11/16/2017. *Today we celebrate those outstanding academics who maintained an 85% or higher in ALL of their classes.
