2019-20 unit: relationships
Students will learn and practice scientist skills as they investigate and discover the relationship between various fields of science. Explorations in the fields of botany, entomology, meteorology, oceanography, zoology, and paleontology are evaluated throughout this unit. Students will integrate science, fine arts, and English to create and present their cumulative Texas Performance Standards Project at the end-of-year Weslaco ISD QUEST Showcase.

where in the world do scientists come from?
where in the world do scientists come from?
Through a recent experiment, students learned about making predictions, graphing, timing, and measuring (circumference). A connection was made about circumference and the globe; students then spun a globe to determine where one may find scientists in the world.
