Ms. Bravo is starting her second year as Head Mariachi director at B. Garza Middle School, Central Middle School and Weslaco High School. She directs Weslaco High School's Mariachi Pantera and teaches guitar, vihuela and guitarron at B. Garza and Central Middle Schools.

Ms. Bravo received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. While attending UTB, Mrs. Bravo was a member of Mariachi Ocelotitlan and UTB/TSC Mariachi Escorpion. Throughout her time, Mrs. Bravo performed with, UTRGV Symphony Orchestra, UTB Sinfonietta, UTB/TSC Symphony Orchestra, and in numerous events with the Mariachi.

Raised in Brownsville/Los Fresnos and a graduate of Los Fresnos High School in LFCISD, Ms. Bravo is thrilled to be teaching in her new hometown! Weslaco! Ms. Bravo began her teaching career as as a violin instructor in various music academies.

When Ms. Bravo is not teaching how awesome Mariachi is, she can be found spending time with her family, playing and singing with Mariachi Sol Azteca, spending time with her beautiful daughter, Gemma, and handsome son Benjamin, cooking, and sewing.
