Hello! We are so excited to welcome our new Kinder Quest students! Services began the first week of March. We met our students, went over the Quest schedule, rules, classroom expectations, and introduced them to the “Wonders” unit. The students were introduced to the word curiosity and what it means to wonder. We created a Wonder Wall where students are encouraged to post their questions and wonders. The students also played several “Getting to Know You” activities.

The students will be introduced to the "Habits of Mind". The Habits of Mind are an identified set of 16 problem solving, life related skills, necessary to effectively operate in society and promote strategic reasoning, insightfulness, perseverance, creativity and craftsmanship. We kicked off the lessons with a "Responding with Wonderment and Awe" cloud activity.
