Selection Criteria

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Career goals and educational plans

• Community service and volunteer activities

• Academic performance and achievements

• School involvement (clubs, sports, organizations)

• Financial need

• Work and internship experience

• Masonic affiliations (if any)

• Previous services received from Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas (if any)

• Short answer responses (4 questions required)

• Letters of recommendation

A limited number of scholarships are available, and priority will be given to Masonic affiliation. Race or ethnic considerations are not asked for nor considered. Funding is not guaranteed and is based upon the availability of funds. The ultimate determination on the awarding of scholarships will be made by the Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas in its sole discretion.
