Contract

Participation in Wiscasset Alternative Education is an honor and a privilege, space is reserved only for those students who agree to meet and uphold general and individual program expectations. There are both general expectations that all students will meet and individualized expectations that are created on a student-by-student basis as applicable.

General Expectations include:

• contributing to an environment that is supportive, respectful, peaceful, safe, and kind for ourselves, our peers, and staff;
• participation in weekly soft skills lessons on topics such as communications, conflict resolution, being present, collaboration and teamwork, making observations, and adaptability;
• completing assignments with proficient Habits of Work;
• being accountable for academic work and personal attitude; and,
• representing WAE and Wiscasset Schools with honor and pride.
