Our grandparent and grandkids scholars had the opportunity to do molecular biology, communicate with UW scientists and students.  Here we see successes in DNA isolation and characterization.  The event was organized by Liz Jesse of the UWBC and BIOTREK program and supported by our EHB Summer Scholars.

A group of 4-H Students, all from Madison's local middle schools, had the opportunity to interact with Scientists and undergraduate student researchers from the UW Biotechnology Center and apply molecular biology and DNA analysis concepts to solve a scientific conundrum.
