Next Workshop
Zine Making

When: February 20th, 2025 from 4:30-5:30PM

Zines can be creative, visual ways of communicating ideas, interests, news, stories, etc. We'll play around with physical format, and structure as we start a zine that says something important to us.

Joining from home? Paper, drawing tools, scissors, and (optionally) collage materials will be useful to have.

Teacher Studio is a hybrid learning community for formal and informal educators interested in hands-on, maker-based learning.

Each month, participants will make something together and share ideas for supporting maker-based learning experiences with their learners. You can join online via zoom or in person at one of our four hub locations. The Teacher Studio is made up of school-based and out-of-school-based educators from a variety of content areas, grade levels, and experience levels with making.

The Teacher Studio is a partnership between UW-Madison PLACE, Wayne RESA, Building For Kids Children's Museum, Madison Public Library and the Fermilab Office of Education and Public Engagement.
