What an incredible Sheboygan County Fair - thank you to every youth, volunteer, and family who made it a success! As we ride that momentum, open enrollment for the 2025–2026 4-H year is now open.
Leaders: A quick reminder that Club & Group Annual Financial Reports were due Sept 1 - we’ve received only about half so far. If yours isn’t in, please submit it to the Extension office ASAP. Also, please review your Club/Project pages in the Crier and email updates or changes to sheboyganco4h@gmail.com. Crier updates are due by the 20th of each month.

Starting September 4, it’s time to re-enroll for the 2025–2026 4-H year! Please complete your enrollment online by November 1, 2025.
We’re always excited to welcome new youth as well. Invite your friends and family to join your club and explore 4-H projects!
To enroll, a parent or guardian must register youth through 4HOnline, and each member must select a club. Let’s make this the best year yet—we’re looking forward to a fantastic 4-H year together!
Please note: Project enrollment deadlines vary, and you must be enrolled by the required deadline in order to be eligible to exhibit at the Sheboygan County Fair.
March 1 – Animal projects, blacksmithing, and shooting sports.
May 1 – All other projects.
September 1: Annual Financial Reports DUE!

We need YOUR help to make the 4-H Open House a success! Clubs and project groups are invited to sign up and showcase what makes 4-H amazing.
Club Dues Reminder: Dues are now $5 per member, which must be sent to the Extension Office to cover insurance. Clubs may still set their own overall dues amounts.

Fair Project & Booth Pick-Up
Club booths and judged fair projects will be available for pick-up in the Youth Building during normal business hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Any items not picked up by the end of Thursday will be moved to the Extension Office in Sheboygan for later pick-up.

Awards Available
Project Awards (Junior, Intermediate & Senior): Recognize growth and achievement in specific project areas (interviews mid-October).
Clover & Cloverbud Awards: Highlight members’ achievements and engagement.
Spirit of 4-H Awards: Celebrate outstanding contributions in Spark, Program Quality, and Youth-Adult Partnership.
Community Builder Award: Recognizes clubs for service to the community.
Officer & Record Book Recognition: Honors Secretaries, Treasurers, Reporters, and members with excellent record books.
Meritorious Service & Friend of 4-H: Honors adult leaders and community partners for outstanding support.
Wisconsin 4-H Key Award (grades 9+ with 3+ years in 4-H, including one as a youth leader)
Scholarships Available
Through the Sheboygan County 4-H Leaders Association and the 4-H Alumni Association, funding is available to help youth attend state and national programs. Scholarships are awarded based on portfolios, interviews, and recommendations. Opportunities include:

Join us in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Madison All-Stars 4-H Club on Sunday, September 28th, from 4-6 p.m. at Sheboygan Falls River Park. Alumni and friends are invited to attend the Annual Awards Banquet and special anniversary celebration - dinner to follow!
The Enchanted Forest and 4-H Open House are coming together on Sunday, October 5th, 1–3 p.m. at Camp Riversite for an afternoon of “unscary” Halloween fun and hands-on 4-H activities.
