November 1, 2025: Last day to reenroll as a volunteer
December 1, 2025: Training and background checks must be completed
Club Volunteer: Club Leader, Activity Leader, Project Leader, Enrollment Coordinator
County Volunteer: County Committee Member, County Activity Leader
Project Volunteer: Key Leader, County Project Committee Member
Chaperones/Advisors: Overnight Adult Advisor or Single Day Adult Advisor/Chaperone
All Wisconsin 4-H volunteers must reenroll each year between September 4 and November 1.

Required trainings (annual volunteer training, orientations, and Supporting Youth Mental Health Training for chaperones)
All trainings and background checks must be done by December 1.
December 1 is also the deadline to be eligible for a discounted fair pass.
Submitting an application does not mean approval is complete — volunteers must be officially approved before working with youth.
Driver authorization and training must be current to volunteer in certain roles.

Must be 21+ years old and complete the UW-Madison Driver Authorization process.
Authorization expires at the end of each membership year.
