While we are excited at the possibility of gathering and discussing our science in person, we recognize that some participants may have concerns about COVID-19. When deciding how best to participate in the meeting, please consider the following information:
Attendees and presenters are welcome to participate virtually if they so choose
UW - Madison continues to enforce 6-foot social distancing indoors, and the meeting event spaces will provide seating compliant with this rule
UW - Madison has rescinded all mask mandates as of June 2, 2021
Events at UW - Madison are not allowed to require vaccination or mask usage
UW - Madison and the local organizing committee strongly recommend vaccination and mask usage indoors at the meeting
UW - Madison COVID policy requires that the name, email address, phone number, and street address of all attendees (both in-person and virtual) be collected and stored for at least 4 weeks
We ask that attendees please be respectful of the choices of others regarding mask usage and vaccination, as there may be extenuating circumstances
The local organizing committee will make every effort to provide safe dining options for attendees (see below)

Safe dining options for attendees:
For in-person attendees, coffee and pastries will be provided in the morning and lunch will be catered each day of the meeting. On Monday evening, appetizers and beverages will be served at the reception. On Tuesday evening, food will be provided at the conference banquet in Paoli, WI. For other meals, many restaurants in downtown Madison offer COVID-safe outdoor seating and/or takeout options. Here are a few recommendations:
