Unleash your creativity with Art U 2027, a unique partnership between 4-H and the University of Wisconsin-Stout Art Education Department. This exciting program connects youth with UW-Stout Art Education students who will guide participants through engaging, hands-on art experiences designed to inspire imagination, creativity, and self-expression.
Art U is open to all youth in grades K-13, regardless of 4-H membership status. Whether you're an experienced artist or just love to create, everyone is welcome.
All instructional sessions will be held virtually, allowing youth from anywhere to participate from home. Participants will explore a variety of artistic techniques and creative projects while learning from future art educators at UW-Stout.
The 2027 Art U program will run February 11 through March 11, with weekly evening sessions delivered virtually over five weeks. Participants will connect online each week to explore new artistic techniques, create original projects, and learn from students at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Polytechnic University.
Additional program details, including session times and Zoom information, will be provided to registered participants prior to the start of the program.
The Art U experience will conclude with an optional in-person Showcase at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where participants can display their artwork, celebrate their accomplishments, and connect with fellow young artists and UW-Stout Art Education students.
The 2027 Art U Showcase is tentatively planned for March 11 or March 18, 2027, with the final date announced to participants during the program.
No previous 4-H experience is required. This program is open to both current 4-H members and youth who are not enrolled in 4-H. Join us for a fun and engaging arts experience, build new skills, explore your creativity, and connect with other young artists from across the region.
Registration information coming soon!
Art U is offered free of charge to all participants thanks to the generous support of the Community Foundation of Dunn County. Their partnership helps make high-quality arts education accessible to youth throughout the region.
