Research

I'm interested commutative algebra and algebraic geometry, and my advisor is Daniel Erman.  Recently, I've been thinking about curves in weighted projective space, nonstandard graded rings, and Koszul algebras.

I've recently attended:

Special Session on Homological Methods in Commutative Algebra & Algebraic Geometry, AMS 2024 Spring Western Sectional Meeting at SFSU, May 4-5, 2024

Introductory Workshop: Commutative Algebra at SLMath, January 22-26, 2024

Connections Workshop: Commutative Algebra at SLMath, January 18-19, 2024

GEMS of CA at the University of Minnesota, November 10-12, 2023

MSRI/SLMath CMND Summer School at the University of Notre Dame, May 22-June 2, 2023

Syzygies and Regularity Workshop at UIC, April 14-16, 2023

CA+ at the University of Minnesota, April 1, 2023

GradMoCCA at the University of Minnesota, May 13-15, 2022

Undergraduate research

I participated in an REU at the University of Connecticut in 2018.  We worked on a project about geodesic interpolation on the Sierpinski gasket and its higher-dimensional analogues.  Our results were published in the paper linked below.

Geodesic Interpolation on Sierpinski Gaskets (with Laura LeGare, Cory McCartan, and Luke Rogers)
